Back to School 2020-2021: EDUCATORS
We know that this is likely one of the most challenging years of your career. There are so many uncertainties and things to consider from both a professional and personal standpoint. Whatever you feel is the right way to feel, please take care of yourself, and know that we are here to support you and your student's mental health. Please see below for updated resources.

Trainings & Offerings  TRAININGS

    Local mental health experts from Lakeshore Community Health Care, Mental Health America in Sheboygan County, Ozaukee Community Therapies, Sheboygan County Division of Public Health, and Sheboygan County Schools among other community experts, came together at the beginning of the 2020 school year to support educators navigate a healthy start to the school year using a collective impact model.

    2020 has been a challenging year! Trauma is already ever present in our schools, and now with the pandemic we are seeing an increase. Join Erin Perez in this interactive training to learn more about how trauma and the pandemic are affecting your students, classrooms, and even school staff. Participants will also learn strategies to create resiliency in your classrooms and self care tools. This training is intended for school staff and can be tailored to meet specific school needs, ranging is length from 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours. PARTICIPATING PATH SCHOOL DISTRICTS WILL RECEIVE ONE FREE TRAINING (COST COVERED BY UNITED WAY PATH PROGRAM). Training provided by Ozaukee Community TherapiesPlease contact Erin Perez-Hughes

  • MINDFUL EDUCATOR SERIES - Applicable fees
    Our Mindful Educator Series utilizes the best in evidence-based education, resources, and practices to help teachers develop their own mindfulness practice as well as then teach it to their students. A Mindful Day, written by the MHA mindfulness staff included in the 8 hour series provides a detailed example of how to integrate the practices throughout the school day in the most effective and efficient way. Please CLICK HERE or above for additional information.

  • PLAY IS HEALING: A MINDFUL RECESS - Free Recorded Videos
    Join us in 2021 for a community initiative promoting wellness and healing from the collective trauma of the pandemic. Above and Beyond Children’s Museum, Mental Health America in Sheboygan County, and the YMCA have partnered to provide playful educational opportunities developed to support our community’s overall health and well-being. "A Mindful Recess' is the first offering with an 8 week series of exercises to boost brain and body health with a calming, focusing, and movement break from virtual schooling. Included in the sessions are mindfulness and fitness movements for calming and focus, balance, and coordination, strength and flexibility, and finished with a gratitude practice while refocusing back on learning.
