EXPERT WELLNESS PANEL FOR EDUCATORS

Join us for an educational discussion with Lakeshore Community Health Care, Mental Health America in Sheboygan County, Ozaukee Community Therapies, Sheboygan County Division of Public Health, and Sheboygan County Schools among other community experts, as we navigate a healthy start to the school year using a collective impact model.

    Topics covered include: self care, resiliency, the latest recommendations, and tools to help us stay flexible and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of education in 2020.
  • TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26 from 6:30-7:30 PM Check-in panel to debrief and connect on how the school year is is unfolding.

    2020 has been a challenging year! Trauma is already ever present in our schools, and now with the pandemic we are seeing an increase. Join Erin Perez in this interactive training to learn more about how trauma and the pandemic are affecting your students, classrooms, and even school staff. Participants will also learn strategies to create resiliency in your classrooms and self care tools. This training is intended for school staff and can be tailored to meed specific school needs, ranging is length from 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours. PARTICIPATING PATH SCHOOL DISTRICTS WILL RECEIVE ONE FREE TRAINING (COST COVERED BY UNITED WAY PATH PROGRAM).

    As we navigate back to school plans and the feelings that surround this, MHA would like to offer our community a space to find support. We are honored to provide ourWellness & Compassion Circles, which allow participants a chance to share challenges, voice concerns, and find a community of support as we work through our current world and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. These strength-based discussions provide a safe and relaxed atmosphere, and have been helpful to other organizations in our community who have been impacted by COVID-19. Please join us for one of our scheduled sessions, or reach out if you would like a Wellness Circle specific to educators, parents, or students within your school or district.
