On this #MindfulMonday, we are excited to announce that our Mindful Classrooms program officially kicks off today! Our youth educator, Trisha, is thrilled to begin teaching area students about mindfulness and the skills students can use to focus, pay attention, reduce stress, and have kindness for themselves and others. This program will be so beneficial to students in our area.
When flying in an airplane, one of the most important instructions given by the flight attendants is to put the oxygen mask on yourself before you help others. When was the last time you did this in your daily life? We are often empathetic and compassionate to those around us that need our help- but in order to help others, we must first practice self-compassion and be kind to ourselves. ** **
