Welcome to #MindfulMonday.
As many of you know, Mental Health America began a Mindful Classrooms initiative this school year. Using a social-emotional learning curriculum from Growing Minds (based in Milwaukee, WI), we have been able to share mindfulness with over 700 students county-wide. Students are learning how to focus, calm down, reduce stress, and be more kind and compassionate.
MHA has been so grateful for the amount of support and interest in this program, and we are hoping to expand our reach even further for the 2017-2018 school year. We hope to reach even more students and educators, but we need YOUR help!
Please take a moment and vote for our video submission to USA Today's "A Community Thrives" grant contest to win up to $100,000 for our mindfulness program!!! You can vote one time per day until May 12, 2017.
(Sometimes it takes a moment for the video to pop up, or go to the Vote Now button, search 'mindfulness' and we are the first video!)
Please share with family and friends! Thank you for making a difference in the lives of Sheboygan County students!!
Be you. Be well. Be mindful.
